They Like It Cold

Changes in sea temperatures, currents, winds, rainfall, sea levels and extreme weather events threaten to adversely affect fish and shellfish numbers. Apparently climate change will impact the biological, economic and social aspects of many fisheries. Many marine species may be lost as the climate continues to warm. This is yet another reminder that climate change imposes costs – not only in terms of our way of life, but in terms of the economic costs to our industries and to our communities. Climate change impacts may vary by region but many of these impacts are expected to be negative as recorded and seen through closed circuit TV.
