Earth Sunshade Would Not Reverse the Climate
The idea that we can reverse all the climate mistakes that have been done by redirecting the sun’s rays through space mirrors has been proven not viable. A study on the impact of a sunshade found out that it would not simply make the Earth regress into its pre-industrial climate.
The findings could be final since the notion poses other drawbacks. The process itself would be expensive and other issues like ocean acidification will remain unaddressed. It could be disastrous if ever it failed and far more disastrous if it succeeded. Has anyone forget to consider the intricacy of the interaction of life and sunlight? We aren’t intelligent enough to foresee the consequences of our technology. If we force a change like this, we could possibly destroy the natural balance of our environment
